The Smiths - Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want
Anonymous asked: Just so you know, it's very inconsiderate of you to post your workout details from that "Fitocracy" site on your Twitter (such as the points you earn for working out). It shames those who don't exercise or are unable to afford or follow a fitness lifestyle. It's great that you are a healthy person with the privilege to do so, but making others feel bad for not working out is a horrible thing to do.
what an interesting perspective, thank you for sharing it
If you can afford a computer with an internet connection you can afford a pair of fucking running shoes
If you are too fucking lazy to lose weight don’t be a jealous bitter twat to people who aren’t
When I gained weight back in college, I didn’t sit around and try to shame the girls who didn’t, and try to vilify them out of my own feelings of insecurity.
I got off my ass and lost it on my own, and the only thing it “cost” me was time. You don’t have to pay anyone a cent just to get up and move around more often. Put things upstairs that you normally wouldn’t, so you have to climb the stairs to use them. Try standing for a bit while you watch TV. Do squats everyday - start with a low number, and add five more each day. Stretch every morning, and right before bed.
Instead of sitting in a chair, sit on a yoga ball. I literally sit on a yoga ball when painting, sculpting, etc. It takes muscle effort to remain balanced on it, unlike when you sit in a chair. A decent yoga ball can be as little as $10.
Just because someone posts fitness tips, they are not doing it to personally slight you, they are doing it to help others. This is not your world alone - it is no one’s responsibility to make life comfortable just for you.
Don’t be such a defensive, oversensitive assclown. We have enough of those on tumblr as it is.
